The tray is set up. The paint is out. And then someone has to go find paper.
Not anymore.
MEKA's Art Paper Sheets are sized to fit your MEKA Tuff Tray perfectly — no cutting, no trimming, no improvising with printer paper that buckles the moment it gets wet. Just pull a sheet, lay it in the tray, and you're ready to create.
What's Included
- 20 sheets of double-sided 160gsm white cartridge paper, sized for the MEKA Small Tuff Tray
- Rolled in sturdy tubes to prevent creases and make storage easy
Note: Tray not included. Designed for use with the MEKA Tuff Tray (Small).
Why 160gsm Matters
Not all art paper is created equal. At 160gsm, these sheets are thick enough to handle watercolors, tempera paint, markers, and mixed media without bleeding through or warping. Double-sided means you get two full surfaces per sheet — great for kids who want to keep going, and great for your supply budget.
Thin printer paper tears, bleeds, and buckles. These sheets hold up.
How to Use Them
Lay a sheet flat in your MEKA Tuff Tray and let the art session begin. The tray's raised edges contain drips, spills, and runaway paint — so the paper stays in place and the mess stays in the tray. When the session's done, lift the sheet out, set it aside to dry, and wipe the tray clean for the next round.
Works beautifully for:
-
Watercolor & tempera painting — the weight handles wet media without warping
-
Marker & crayon drawing — smooth surface, no bleed-through
-
Mixed media projects — collage, stamping, printmaking, and more
-
Process art — open-ended exploration where the making matters more than the outcome
-
Nature printing — press leaves, flowers, or textured objects directly onto the sheet
-
Collaborative murals — lay multiple sheets end to end for a bigger canvas
Who Is This For?
These sheets are designed for any family with a MEKA Tuff Tray who wants a frictionless art setup. No hunting for paper, no cutting to size, no cleanup surprises. Just ready-to-use sheets that fit the tray you already have.
Ideal for homeschool art days, process art sessions, and any time you want to say "yes" to a creative idea without the setup overhead. Works for ages 3 to 9+ — and honestly, for any age that loves making things.
